Fast Diagnosis & Onsite Laboratory Facilitate Emergency Care
The veterinarians at North Valley Pet Hospital can quickly diagnose your pet’s condition using the latest technology in their onsite laboratory. They use VetRay digital X-ray equipment and perform a full blood work-up. The lab has advanced IDEXX laboratory equipment and an oxygen cage ICU for smaller animals for hypothermia, snakebite and heart failure.
If your pet needs emergency surgery, you’re in very good hands at North Valley Pet Hospital with two skilled veterinary surgeons. Drs. Dean and Goulbourn operate with a CO2 surgical laser to decrease pain, swelling and bleeding and speed recovery. They use the most up-to-date anesthetics and their staff closely monitors your pet during anesthesia. They check CO2 buildup, ECG, oxygen levels in the blood and blood pressure, and they provide IV fluid support. In other words, they take every precaution to ensure a good surgical outcome for your pet.
In the event your dog or cat needs to stay overnight during recovery, their kennel and boarding facilities are clean and comfortable. They will do everything possible to make your pet’s recovery safe and pleasant.
